Neue Ware und Mega Ankündigung!!!

Nun aber! Ganz fit bin ich immer noch nicht, aber die Arbeit stapelt sich und der Blog wird ja auch nicht kürzer bei Verschleppung.

Aber vorher habe ich ja noch eine mega Ankündigung versprochen:

Am 07.12.24 wird uns der werte Chris Hülsbeck im Rahmen seiner Leipzig-Reise einen Besuch abstatten und lädt euch alle zum Meet and Greet ein. Von 10-12 Uhr wird er im RETRO Games Autogramme verteilen, eure Spiele signieren, CDs und Vinyls zum Verkauf anbieten und euch Rede und Antwort zu all euren Fragen stehen. Markiert es euch also dick im Kalender, diese Gelegenheit kommt vielleicht nie wieder, sein letzter Leipzigbesuch ist 17 Jahre her!

Ich wollte mal Danke sagen, dass ihr unsere Arbeit so zu schätzen wisst. Ich habe es vor ein paar Tagen wieder bei dem Pikachu N64 bemerkt, in das wir wirklich viel Aufarbeitungsaufwand gesteckt haben und trotzdem immer irgendwie die Angst mitschwingt, es würde dann doch in die falschen Hände kommen. Schwer zu erklären: Irgendwer, dem es egal ist, wie es aussieht, oder jemand, der trotz der Arbeit daran herumkritisiert, weil es natürlich trotzdem keine Neuware im Sammlerzustand ist, oder jemand, der es nur zum Weiterverkauf kauft… so etwas macht mir im Vorfeld immer viele Gedanken und Sorgen, weil ich halt nicht einfach nur An- und Verkaufe. Klar, am Ende des Monats muss auch ich meine Rechnungen bezahlen, aber ansonsten schwingt bei all meiner Arbeit immer eher die Liebe zum (End-)Produkt mit. Ich liebe es, jeden Tag so viele verschiedene Spiele in Händen halten und aufbereiten zu dürfen. Ich liebe es, wenn sich der zukünftige Besitzer über seinen Kauf freut. Ich liebe es, darüber zu reden, egal, ob kleine Anekdoten zum Spiel oder zum Ankauferlebnis. Alles hier hat eine Geschichte, die ich gerne würdigen möchte und zum kleinen Teil „verlange“ ich das auch von jedem, der uns besuchen kommt. Wir sind manchmal entsetzt, in welchem Zustand Ware, die privat, oder in anderen Läden gekauft wurde, zu uns kommt. Aber, sie wurde gekauft, was mir oft die Frage stellt, ob meine Arbeit nicht egal ist, wenn es eh niemanden kümmert, außer mir. Zum Glück gibt es jeden Tag Erlebnisse, die mich vom Gegenteil überzeugen. Und dafür nochmal ein großes Dankeschön und natürlich allen viel Spaß mit ihren schon getanen oder zukünftigen Erwerbungen!
